Over the weekend Sydney Brick Show was honoured to again be able to present $20,000 to Bear Cottage. This donation has only been made possible through the hard work of all our team, builders, the visiting fans, and City of Sydney.

We had an amazing visit meeting staff and families currently staying at the cottage. For those new to our page, Bear Cottage is a part of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, and is wholly donation run to provide very specialised respite and end-of-life care to children out of the hospital environment.

We look forward to supporting Bear Cottage further this year through additional activities including our upcoming ‘Sydney Brick Show visits David Jones’ event on 19-27 September!

The amazing weekend was near capacity yet full of positive experiences! We’ll keep you posted of updates throughout the year and some exciting news soon regarding our involvement with Bear Cottage.

The volunteer team and exhibitors are already building furiously for our next show on during the first week in the September holidays when The Sydney Brick Show visits David Jones! David Jones on Seven, Elizabeth Street store, Sydney. We’ll be back with our next brick adventure!
